Imagine losing out on job opportunities or being forced to decide between your child and a steady income because your child needs your urgent attention that day. Imagine wondering if your child will ever get the social and moral upbringing fit for a child readying itself for the “big” school. Now imagine having to pay almost all your income to cater for such dilemmas… another dilemma… What to do?

I personally saw many of my colleagues struggle with balancing their income with their immediate family needs. And their problem only becomes worse when sliding down the income scales. The casual workers, the domestics and others who earn the bare minimum, can’t afford expensive day-cares. Yet they are expected to contribute to the economy, be a role model for their kids and raise them up to become respected members of South Africa’s society. I saw a need to help them achieve that dignity.

We are TNG Day Care situated on the Boschkop road in Pretoria East, offering pre-school education & full day care for children varying in ages from 3 months to 6 years. We try to help their parents, having low to no income, to deal with the challenges as described above. We cater for the greater Boschkop area, including Zwavelpoort, Tiegerpoort, Mooiplaats & Boschkop. We arrange for pick-up & drop-off, joyful & educational playtimes, and nutritional meals. All for a nominal monthly fee.

To continue with an affordable day -care solution, we at TNG Day Care need your support. We depend on your donation to cater for most of our monthly expenses, like salaries of the staff, maintenance of the premises, and additional food, cleaning supplies and educational material.

TNG Day Care is a registered NPO and can therefore supply Article 18A certificates for tax purposes to companies and individuals who prefer this. We welcome any financial donations, food, clothing, toys, and books as well as educational aids. Your kind consideration for our cause is sincerely appreciated.
